Speech Language Pathologist

Lauren Z, MS, CCC, SLP

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology/ Audiology with a minor in Italian Studies from Loyola University Maryland. During college, Lauren spent two summers interning at Creative Speech Solutions, LLC for Camp PAL. She then attended New York University, where she received her Master of Science degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. 

Lauren’s experience includes supporting children from birth to 18 years in the areas of pre-language development, expressive and receptive language, speech sound disorders, social-emotional skills, fluency, autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning, and literacy.  Lauren is passionate about providing holistic care and collaborating with all relevant team members to best support her clients.  

Lauren’s specialty includes evaluation and treatment for children with feeding disorders, oral-motor deficits, and apraxia of speech.

Lauren is currently licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York as a speech-language pathologist. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech Language Specialist (SLS).  Lauren is also trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) and has received further training in feeding through AEIOU: An Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding.

Lauren lives in Basking Ridge with her husband and son.  In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and trying new restaurants.
