Ava earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology
from Sacred Heart University. She went on to complete her Master of Science degree in
Speech-Language Pathology at Seton Hall University.
She has extensive experience conducting evaluations and providing speech and language therapy to
both children and adults across a variety of settings, including educational and outpatient environments.
Ava has worked with individuals across the lifespan presenting with a range of communication/feeding
disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, Down syndrome, mixed
receptive-expressive language disorder, speech sound disorders, pediatric feeding disorders, and fluency
disorders. She also has training supporting individuals who utilize augmentative and alternative
communication (AAC) systems, including direct access, switches, and eye gaze technology.
Ava is passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential. She values collaboration with
families and interdisciplinary teams to create supportive, functional, and motivating learning environments
that foster meaningful progress.
She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA), is licensed by the State of New Jersey, and is certified by the New Jersey
Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist.
Outside of her professional work, Ava enjoys
traveling and spending time with family and friends.
