Arielle received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degrees at the University at Buffalo in 2013. She began her career in a preschool in the Bronx, and since then has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including sensory gyms, K-8 schools, and Early Intervention home visits.
Arielle has a wealth of experience working with kids and teens, specializing in servicing those with sensory processing difficulties, developmental delays, and neurodivergence. She focuses her practice on nurturing fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing skills, always striving to make therapy fun and engaging. She has experience conducting evaluations as well as individual, small group, and large group treatments. Arielle has also conducted educational in-services for educators on OT practices and supports.
She is trained in Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) and The Size Matters Handwriting Program (SMHP), as well as sensory-focused programs such as Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Training Protocol, and the Interoception Curriculum. After participating in Learn, Play, Thrive’s OT Neurodiversity Summit, Arielle puts an emphasis on using neurodiversity affirming practices along with a strengths-based approach to foster a positive environment for growth and development.
Arielle is committed to working hand-in-hand with parents and teachers to create personalized, holistic plans that support each child’s unique journey toward independence and success.
She currently resides in Summit with her fiance and pet rabbit, Tucky. While not practicing, Arielle enjoys crafting, cooking, and reading.
