Jainé graduated with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. She holds a New Jersey Department of Education Certification to provide Occupational Therapy services in schools. Since becoming an Occupational Therapist, she’s been working in Pediatrics with clients ages 0-21 in both school and outpatient settings. Jainé has experience working with a variety of diagnoses including, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, as well as Developmental Delays, Learning Disabilities, and Behavioral disorders. Jainé believes in client-centered therapeutic services, where healthcare professionals, school personnel, and parents collaborate to promote children’s independence and improve their fine motor, visual perception/motor, sensory processing, and social emotional skills.
Prior to studying Occupational Therapy, Jainé acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Having been a Division 1 gymnast at The Ohio State University, she knows first-hand how essential it is to make the connection between the mind and body, and also how valuable it is to have a motivating and impactful therapist. Jainé also studied Children’s Mental Health and Welfare abroad in Australia, gaining global experience in diverse populations and learning to address people’s psychological well-being as well as their physical needs. Jainé’s fun-loving nature allows her build rapport with children of all ages and help little humans make big moves!
Outside of work, Jainé is passionate about spending time with loved ones, adventuring with friends, fitness, and overall health and wellness.
